TruStone works with a large range of natural and reconstituted stone. With varying patterns, colours and prices choosing the perfect stone for your house can be challenging, however TruStone is here to help inform you every step of the way.

Stones

Natural Stone

Natural stones, like marble, granite and quartzite, take millions of years to form under the Earth’s surface and are mined in quarries all over the world. Due to the immense pressure natural stone faces while under the Earth’s surface it is extremely resistant to heat making it an excellent choice for fire hearths and outdoor benches.

Whilst marble is a softer stone, scoring between 2.5 and 5 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, clients who give it the love and attention it deserves will have it serving them for a lifetime and beyond.

Ranking 7 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness both granite and quartzite are extremely durable surfaces and perfect in any high use area. Both easy to clean and highly resistant to staining and scratching, these beauties of nature would be perfect for any family home.

Engineered Stone

Engineered stone countertops are also referred to as quartz countertops and are manmade. Composed of approximately 95% quartz and 5% resin, due to their manufacturing process, engineered stones have a very uniform look, adding a cost effective luxe finish to any area.
